Full Stack HVAC provides independent, transparent evaluations of HVAC software. No vendor pays for placement or improved scores.
FSH Scoring System
Every product is evaluated across six dimensions on a 0.0–10.0 scale:
Ease of Use
How intuitive is the product for HVAC professionals? We assess onboarding complexity, daily workflow friction, and mobile experience.
Features
Depth and breadth of capabilities relevant to HVAC operations. Measured through feature matrix completeness and category strength scores.
Support
Customer support quality based on response times, channel availability, documentation, and community resources.
Value
Price-to-capability ratio. We assess pricing transparency, total cost of ownership, and value relative to comparable products.
Integrations
API openness, ecosystem compatibility, and interoperability with common HVAC tools and accounting platforms.
AI Capabilities
Level of AI integration, from traditional (no AI) through AI-assisted, AI-enhanced, AI-powered, to AI-native.
Overall FSH Score
The overall FSH Score is a weighted average of all six dimensions. Per-index weights are tuned for relevance (e.g., Design & Engineering weighs Features and Integrations higher).
- 9.0+ (Outstanding): Best-in-class across the board
- 7.0–8.9 (Excellent): Strong performance with minor gaps
- 5.0–6.9 (Good): Solid product with room to improve
- Below 5.0 (Fair): Notable weaknesses buyers should consider
AI Tier Classification
Products are classified into five tiers based on AI capability depth.
- ai-native: AI is the core value proposition
- ai-powered: Significant AI features across the product
- ai-enhanced: Meaningful AI features in specific areas
- ai-assisted: Basic automation and simple AI features
- traditional: No significant AI capabilities
Independence
Full Stack HVAC is not affiliated with any HVAC software vendor. Our revenue comes from our HVAC contractor website builder, a separate product with no influence on software evaluations.
