Overview
The Fieldpiece DR82 uses an infrared sensor with up to 10-year lifespan that detects all CFC, HFC, HCFC, and HFO refrigerants including A2L types. Sensitivity down to 0.1 oz/yr with three sensitivity levels, 4-second recovery time, and 8-hour battery life. The IR sensor does not touch refrigerant, so it is not triggered by oil or moisture like heated-diode detectors.
