Domain Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Domain Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for domain registration and management services provided through the Full Stack HVAC platform. Please read this policy carefully before registering a domain. Domain registrations are generally non-refundable due to the nature of domain registration with third-party registries.

2. Free Subdomains

Free subdomains (e.g., yourcompany.fullstackhvac.com) are provided at no charge and are not subject to refund requests. Subdomain assignments can be cancelled at any time without penalty.

3. Custom Domain Registrations

Grace Period (5-Day Window)

For newly registered custom domains, a refund may be available within 5 calendar days of registration, provided that:

  • The domain has not been used to send email
  • The domain has not been transferred to another registrar
  • The TLD registry permits deletion (some ccTLDs and premium TLDs do not)
  • You submit a refund request to support@fullstackhvac.com within the grace period

Refunds within the grace period are processed minus any applicable ICANN fees (typically $0.18 per domain year).

After the Grace Period

After the 5-day grace period, domain registration fees are non-refundable. This is because we have already paid the registration fee to the TLD registry on your behalf and cannot recover that cost.

Non-Refundable Domains

The following are never eligible for refunds regardless of timing:

  • Premium domain names (pricing set by the registry)
  • Country-code TLDs (ccTLDs such as .io, .co.uk, .ca); registry policies vary
  • Domain renewals
  • Domains that have been transferred to another registrar
  • Domains suspended or terminated for policy violations

4. Registration Failures

If a domain registration fails due to a technical error on our end or the registrar's end, and the domain was not successfully registered, you will receive a full refund automatically within 5–10 business days. No action is required on your part.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a domain refund within the applicable grace period:

  1. Email support@fullstackhvac.com with the subject line "Domain Refund Request"
  2. Include the domain name and the date of registration
  3. Briefly explain the reason for the refund request

We will respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

6. Chargebacks

Initiating a credit card chargeback for a domain registration without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account and all associated services. Please contact us first. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this refund policy at any time. Changes take effect for domains registered after the updated policy is published. The policy version date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
